Nairobi National Park
Area: 117 kms²
Elevation: 1600m - 1500m
The world’s wildlife capital that is merely a 10kms from the city and the only country with wildlife roaming freely close to the capital. The habitat comprises of savanna grassland , acacia bushes and a dense forest. The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded.
